August 26, 20223 yr Hi All, I recently purchased a 5kW Deye inverter and got a F13Grid_Mode_changed fault when I changed the modbus sn from 00 to 01 while it was connected to load. This caused a fault and made it beep constantly. I flipped the bypass switch to on to isolate the inverter from the house load, turned off the AC input to the inverter so no power was coming in by and turned the inverter off. I waited a few minutes and then turned it back on and all seems well now(no additional faults I can see). What I wanted to know was what is the best way to change settings on this model of inverter without causing such alarming faults. Regards Edited August 26, 20223 yr by SolarNovice88
August 26, 20223 yr Before you make system setup changes, go to the page for System Settings --> Basic Settings, un-tick the "beep" box, and that way you should be the only one in the house to be freaked out when you create a fault. The system should come back in a minute once you correct the settings. Maybe put the buzzer back on when you're done.
August 26, 20223 yr If you let the inverter ON , it will come back to normal state after a while, no need to turn off power. And yes, I also disabled the annoying beep.
May 9, 20251 yr Recently, i monitor Deye inverter SUN 5K SG03L via Modbus.I want to change MODBUS SN to 02 instead of default 01, but i just read register with SN 01, When i read with SN02, it does not work.thanks for your help!!!!!
