October 22, 20223 yr My Synsynk is set to allow 150W to be drawn from the grid to limit grid feed in and potentially trip the prepaid meter. With Home assistant and Solar Assistant integration I have noticed that it recently peaked at -503 as per the screenshot. Is this normal?
October 22, 20223 yr Its difficult to say without knowing what the battery, PV and load are doing at those exact moments. But yes the inverter will draw more momentarily when waiting for PV or batteries to match load
October 22, 20223 yr Author @mzezman The value is actually negative, i.e. it's feeding into the grid momentarily. I think it is due to inductive loads being switched off.

According to these observations though, I'm guessing a zero setting would potentially allow a temporary grid feed-in of approx. 750W, if the sampling is actually accurate. I was wondering if anyone else is tracking their feed-in via the solar assistant or home assistant integration, or has any other view on this?

I have done some monitoring and as far as i can see you will always have some sort of spikes that make it through even if you have some trickle feed ,the thing is that it doesn't add up to much power drawn and its certainly less than what you would draw on 50watts plus trickle . For myself it has been about 2kwh of feed in in the last 1200kwh of consumption and thats with it set to 0.
October 22, 20223 yr Author I've done approx. 0.1 out of 1000 based on my data. I'm going to gradually decrease my setting and monitor. I've also set up a HA Notification to alert me when I feed back just to make sure I capture any anomalies. thanks
