Anton vD
, I got a 8kw Sunsynk Inverter installed, but if zero export is selected, so that we power the non-essential load also from solar/battery if eskom is on, the reading on the inverter go hywire. Getting zero load figures and pv figures also go up and down and grid go to negative. Sure this is not right. Is this a problem with the ct install or other settings that is wrong? WannabeSolarSparky
Maybe post a photo of the ct coil installed. (forum people will quickly tell you if it's correct or not It should ideally be right at your meter on the live wire. before it gets to the db. Also the direction and also the polarity where the ct is connected to the inverter needs to be correct. Weird jumping readings often points to incorrect CT coil setup. mzezman and wolfandy
mzezman
This ^ Its either not in the right place on the main line, pointing the wrong way or connected to the wrong pins in the inverter (one or all 3 could be a factor) WannabeSolarSparky and wolfandy
Cbf
Can I jump in with a similar question. On the old inverter setup 'export when battery 100% full' was understandable. With the above set up how do you need to do the setting to achieve the same result? Thanks
