Hi all,

A few questions I haven't been able to find definitive answers to, if anyone could please help?

1.) can the unit export power to grid? the manual seems to loosely indicate it does but i find no further info on it, I know this isn't techhnically a hybrid inverter even though they call it one?

2.) The fan noise, some say it is bad and others say it is quiet, whats the deal here or is it a case of the fan settings and load?

TIA

If installed inside you will definitely hear it when it ramps for load (charging batteries, drawing from batteries). You can change the fan curve speed settings to make it quieter but it's not silent

The SNA5000 can not export to the grid, that thing is an off grid inverter even if they can call it all sorts of names and I stand to be corrected. The one that can export to the grid is the LXP5000, which is slightly more expensive. roughly the same price as the Sunsynk 5kva

The SNA5000 can in theory export to grid. It has the option to do so within the settings menu.

We have not set them up to do so on any of our installations yet to confirm whether it works or does not.
