Question:

I want to maintain a lowered SOC state as to not have the battery sit at 100%, trying to keep between 95 and 20%

The 20% isnt a concern but I also want to ensure I dont strain the battery through charging.

physical charge time is not and issue as well, can be quick or slower, but what is best for the battery.

I Cant set a no float option, so herewith my real question.

Would the below be okay?

1. Bulk charge 57.6V as recommended

2. Float charge 54.0V lower than the 54.4 recommended

3. Max charge 10A

4. Max AC charge 2A

5. To mains 51V (solar first setting)

6. Back to battery Full (Solar first setting)

7. Cut off 48V

If you have a 16 cell battery then that low voltage of 54.5 (3.4v per cell) may not be enough for the bms to do balancing.
Find out what the balancing start voltage is and then set it to just above that level.

Was about to update, I changed this last night to Bulk 56.7V

16S? I thought I had a 14S (51.2V)

Nominal voltage per cell is 3.2V for LFP. 51.2/3.2=???

Ag im an idjit, looking a Li Ion and not LiFePO4.

Thanks!

So the raised 57.6V, should be fine yeah as recommended

Foat at 54 rather than the 54.4 recommended as I dont want the batt to rest at 100%

Hi all I have the Svolt lithium battery but last night the battery red light came on and the inverter is now bypassing the battery. Any idea what may have caused the Alm red light to come on.
