May 2, 20233 yr Hi Everyone, I recently purchased and installed a Growatt SPF 5000ES inverter with a Growatt Hope 4.8L-C1 Lithium Battery which has been working like a charm during load shedding. However I am finding that when municipal power is back that the inverter fans ramp up when using high draw things like the kettle or coffee machine, also noticed that the inverter will supply power to the house when the power is on and charge back up to 100%. Is this normal or should there be settings I should change? Thanks in advance.
May 3, 20233 yr Author So as I understand it by reading a few forum posts, my inverter is saying "UTI.FIRST", which I interpret to mean that municipal power should be used primarily and failing that (load shedding) then it should switch to battery as the secondary. But when there is no load shedding I am still seeing the inverter powering a portion of my house by looking at the load percentage. As per the attached picture it is showing that my load percentage is is 3.9% even though there is currently no load shedding, and that percentage will increase if I switch something else on like an additional light for example. I am unsure how to access the SBU & SUB output priority through the inverter menu. 21F4BCB4-6437-4859-AC57-F67F23DAAB6C.heic IMG_2847.HEIC Edited May 3, 20233 yr by HelloDarth
