May 9, 20233 yr Hi all. I noticed something strange for the first time today on my 5kW Deye inverter... the time was 1 hour ahead of the actual time. I went onto "basic settings" and changed it, but a few minutes later it went back to the wrong time again. Has anyone seen this issue before? Has it perhaps got something to do with the "time syncs" option being enabled? Thanks. Grant.
May 9, 20233 yr Author Thanks for the advice, Zsde. I have unticked the "time syncs" option which seems to have helped. I will keep an eye on it for a few days and make sure it has resolved the issue. Regards. Grant.
May 9, 20233 yr I'm having the same problem. I noticed it yesterday for the first time. I fixed the time but I just noticed that it jumped an hour ahead again. I have now turned off "Time Syncs" to see what happens.
May 9, 20233 yr My gut feel is that there is a daylight savings feature that is not user configurable, either in the Inverter Firmware or in the server it connects to. A suitably worded request to your friendly Deye/Sunsynk representative may eventually result in a fix. 😉 Edited May 9, 20233 yr by zsde

May 13, 20233 yr Don’t know much about these things but learning alot as we go on. Keep sharing information people!
June 20, 20233 yr My dye inverter is also not on time when time sync is on. To un tick the box is only a temperatory solution. The system must be fixed/updated. Its like having an exspensive smart phone with blutooth or wifi not working. Dawid Ludik
