May 12, 20233 yr Hi All, How are you maintaining this based on the current loadshedding? Edited May 12, 20233 yr by Raiden2912
May 12, 20233 yr This will depend on the size off your battery and the load during the morning time. My load is very low during the morning. I have 3 x 3000C Pylontech batteries. Here is mine Edited May 12, 20233 yr by Jacques Ester
May 12, 20233 yr This keeps my battery topped up between 19:30ish and 22:00ish before it starts discharging making sure I have enough juice lft for the 4am-8am sessions. My heatpump kicks in at 4am for the morning showers. My batteries have max 20% DOD. Edited May 12, 20233 yr by Douw G. Gerber

May 12, 20233 yr Author 2x 5.12 SHOTO SDC10-Box 5 and I also need my geyser to warm up at 4:00am I don’t have a heat pump
May 13, 20233 yr Here is mine on 2x7.2 kwh batteries. Enough to run the house for 14 hours 18h00-07h00 including one geyser cycle. Reason I dont discharge to 20% is to cover the occasional 4-8 morning loadshedding, using AC to top up a bit. Also using a loadshedding relay to switch of geyser in the early mornings to save on batteries. My settings are a bit conservative at this stage
