averge batteries over discharging

Featured Replies

Hi silvester begedu, welcome in the club.

Nice rack for your packs! I put mine only face up on wooden blocks.

I do not quite understand what you mean with "over discharge". The LEOCH BMS is set to low voltage cutout at 40.5V. I set my low cutout at the inverter to 42V. It has triggered few times during load shedding. At power return the inverters powered up automatically in line mode and recharged the batteries.

hie everyone please help me been having problems with averge lithium batteries  connected to an Synapse 7.2kw inverter  over discharging i have my  dc cutoff set at 46vdc. i have 3 15kwhbatterybank.jpg.73a892e091fadfb665a79943395b74bf.jpgbatteries wired in parallel.

Welcome Silvester, are you not using communication between bms and inverter? Something else i want to mention connect your battery terminals staggered so you spread the load on the terminals as indicated in the Averge manual. See below:

It's staggered already. Red to the top and Black to the bottom. The interconnecting cables look very thin though. But yes, I don't see communication cables either.

@p_iNot the pos and neg top and bottom the interlinking of neg and pos between the terminals look at the white arrows on my picture that is the correct method as per the Averge manual. That way you spread the current on the terminals. Cables could be 16mm² or 25mm² difficult to see

Okay, so connect cables to separate connectors on the middle battery. Not sure if that would make much difference, but it could be tried. The missing communication cables (green in your photo) could be tried too. The cables to the battery bank seems to be much thicker than the interconnection cables. That's something else which could be tried here: thicker interconnection cables.
