June 24, 20233 yr Hi All, I just installed a 3rd battery into my system. However I’m having trouble picking up the 3rd pack in SA. So the settings are pack 1 RS458a connected to pack 2 RS458b pack 3 connected to pack 1 on RS458b to pack 3 RS485a Dip settings on Pack 1 set to 1 Dip settings on Pack 2 set to 2 Dip settings on Pack 3 set to 3 SA picks up the 2 packs but not the 3rd. Im thinking maybe of restarting the entire system to check. any ideas would help
June 24, 20233 yr Author Got it working. So Dip 1 on pack 1 up Dip 2 on pack 2 up All other dip settings down for any further packs installed
November 30, 20232 yr in my setup, I have 3 Shoto SDC-Box5 batteries, and the DIP switches are as following: 1) 1 is up, other are down 2) 2 is up, other are down 3) 1,2 are up, other are down with such setup everything works fine.
October 16, 20241 yr What method are you using for charging these batteries? USE or LI? Also is it worth buying solar assistance?
