June 26, 20233 yr Any successful installation of the Huawei Power M unit and setting it up with iSitePower-M via FusionSolar (Huawei support recommended this over NetEco)? I am challenged in creating the iSitePower-M plant on FusionSolar with a login error. I am aware of the default Username: admin Password: Changeme but that is not working to log me in and it is a new installation, new products. The other issue is the running indicator LED which will turn GREEN when starting up the system and about 10 minutes in, turn RED. Because of this I cannot run any load on this system and the battery also does not seem to be charging. I would appreciate a step-by-step guide for anyone who has had a successful installation of this unit.
July 17, 20233 yr Hi, My installer (Huawei contracted electrician) used the NetEco app. since I am on Samsung Android I had to first download and install the Huawei app store, then the NetEco app. He did some changes when the Power-M was switched on, and he could connect via the Power-M internal WiFi. The unit did take a while to settle down and start charging, as it was probably about 50%, and a few times during the first loads/charges it did make some humming/whining noise, but quite low., then the system stopped making any noise at all about a week later. A few days later I noticed that the left Led was red, and the installer directed me to switch off some of the alarm indications which was because I do not have the solar installed yet. I am still waiting for some Huawei tech support to contact me regarding the FusionSolar app -more than a week now...:( I want to use the FusionSolar app so that I can monitor and get alarms remotely, because the NetEco is not connected to my WiFi/Internet, and I don't know if NetEco can even connect like that. I have read some documentation that an installer that has access to FusionSolar to set up the solar panels, etc, needs to send an "invite" to a user/owner for the owner to be able to use the app for monitoring via WiFi or remote access. I expect that the installer that Huawei mean for the FusionSolar is the one that is registered with them to install the Solar Panels.

July 19, 20233 yr Sounds like the aftersales support on the Huawei's is terrible. Pity, was considering their system for my parents.

Hello, I managed to successfully set up my system using the FusionSolar App. Looks like my system needed a couple of firmware upgrades, with a restart after each upgrade. When creating a plant, if I remember well, you can choose between an installer and an end-user. I believe there are limited functions for the end-user, but I was able to clear some faults remotely (after ensuring they were not an issue - like a grid disconnect alarm) with my installer account on FusionSolar. Most of these apps allow you to add users and some can transfer an entire plant.

It was not the best for me. Had to go through my supplier to get a success. However, their products seem to promise quality

If you want to install a unit inside- this is by far the quietest, with no moving parts, and their guarantee is that they will send out an installer to check out the unit, and if you haven't gone and beaten it up, they will do an "immediate" swap out of the faulty unit. Ok, when its delivering power from batteries or charging, there is that electrical buzz, but just like your running fridge. I've heard some inverters when their fans come on, and they are loud! I also like the look of this inside the house, mine is in a study at the side of a desk.
