June 7, 20186 yr Author i was about to comment that it is a bit early for 'weekend humor' until i hit your strategically placed explanation - well done though

June 7, 20186 yr I can monitor mine remotely and even change settings if needed. I leave a key with the neighbour in case of calamity. Then I leave the system on and let it do its thing. Usually the only thing I change before leaving is the minimum discharge SoC. I move it down because the daytime loads disappear when we're not home, leaving more PV for charging, so I have to discharge more at night to make room for it. That's about it.
June 7, 20186 yr Leave your ICC machine on and log in remotely. You could have Watchpower on the same machine if you need to change anything. If you are really concerned set your inverter to grid and tinker when you back at home. I am off grid and other than asking a mate to feed the hounds I leave my system as is. I admit that it needs no tweaking so I am confident when I leave home. My system does funny things when the missus and her mother are here. So I invariably take them with me and that excludes 95% of the causes of renewable energy hiccups.

June 7, 20186 yr My missus acknowledges that she causes most of the mishaps. My monster-in-law was the blueprint for Hitler and I am just happy my house has not burnt down and I just suck it up otherwise I might have an appointment with the Gestapo.
June 7, 20186 yr I a wonderful Mrs but she sees the solar anything and we'll it's a nightmare. Easiest thing to do is to leave it all alone and take the Mrs with. The charge takes care of the batteries and everything is the same just a bit less power consumed.
June 7, 20186 yr Author thanks guys, some of you are pretty brave indeed . whilst on the topic of who can handle the system when we move on [i mean you can't always take everybody with you] , i still have to write that manual [switch one up, switch two down etc...] and tell her to write a sos message on this forum... anyone here who knows how to setup the email function in the icc running under win10? i had some comms re this with @Manie but still can't get it right, i have gmail.
