DEYE 8kw Inverter without a battery installed.

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I would like some advice please.

Can I run an 8kw Deye Inverter (or recommend another inverter) with solar panels only. I want to install one for my office similar to a grid-tie. I will add the battery later. Will it work?

I don't really need storage at this point.

As the man said. No grid no power, not even solar. Just get the battery, you'll be glad you did.

It remains a good call to buy the inverter and you have the core sorted out and add battery when it is needed. Initial expense much lower 😀😀pay for the basic system in 3 years if all PV is used every day.

It might be a better call to buy a 5kW inverter with a battery, instead of 8kW without battery 😉

Thanks for this suggestion. This makes better sense.
