Sunsynk 5.32kW Battery - Will a Pylon battery cable work on this?

Featured Replies

I got a SunSynk 5.32kW battery. The package did not include the battery to inverter power cable. Online I see they are around R1200.
I see the Pylontech cables are cheaper, will this work? Is it the same clipon process?

Also, how does the clips without the cable work? I have suitable battery cables. I am referring to clips like this:

PS. This is not the communication cable, I am referring to the actual battery/power cable.

Clips are required for the battery - becomes pretty self-explanatory connecting the DC cable to them (the gland offers a tighter fit - insert the cable into the metal hole, and then screw the plastic lid at back over it all (bit like shrink sleeve, place cable through it first). I had to slightly reduce the size of my 35mm cable to make it fit. Then it just clips into the battery. Think it's called an ESS connector.

Comms cable to battery comes with the inverter, IIRC. Pretty sure they're dead easy to make up yourself with a lan cable crimper, the required 'pin' schematic is on the site somewhere.

No crimping involved?
Will a Pylontech battery connector work as well?

Also, what is the connector size? 25mm?

Yes, I know, thank you. I am only looking at the battery cables.
