Mpp Solar 5048 mkx + pylon us300c err 04?

Featured Replies

I return with a last year question:

I have a battery Pylontech us3000c and an inverter Mpp Solar 5048 MKX series - set to PYL.
Settings are SLB&UCB charger source priority. Output are at SBU.
Why time to time I have err 04 low battery or battery under shutdown altough the battery is above 45% to 100% charged?
Thank's.

What is your load when you get this error? If you only have 1 of these batteries it is too small for a 5kW inverter. The recommended discharge is only 37A per battery which is around 1.8kW.

That is strange on a full battery, the only other setting I would think of is setting 29, low DC cutoff, if that is set too high, I don't think that is set automatically by the BMS comms.

Even if the load is under 1kwh and battery have between ex 40 at 100%, and solar is in full charge, i have err 04 1,2 times/min.

Setting 29 is automatically set at 45V. I try to change it.

Maybe the cells are out of balance?
