November 22, 20232 yr I get more watts with a string of just 2 panels in series than with 4 panels also connected 2X2 is series. Then parallel to the inverter. Need advice! They are connected with a 4 to 1 cable. With no combiner box.

Do you have fuse protection between the strings before entering the inverter? It is not possible to have less power between 2S2P and 2S1P you should see double the current in the 2S2P configuration. 4 hours ago, Christoffel said: With no combiner box I will fit a combiner box with all the relevant protection devices.
November 22, 20232 yr Send us the settings on your inverter as your pv production seems throttled even with 2S1P (650w)your solar production is very poor i assume you don't have 4 panels connected during the screenshot. Was the above pv output taken during full sun?

You need to set it to Sbu it seems that it is set to Uti Sbu= Solar energy provides power to the loads as first priority. If solar energy is not sufficient to power all connected loads, battery energy will supply power to the loads at the same time. Utility provides power to the loads only when battery voltage drops to either low-level warning voltage or the setting point in program 12.

November 23, 20232 yr Author If you have anydesk ill gladly share the login info. So you can go check yourself. 🤔
November 23, 20232 yr Author I just found something not right. On anydesk i have SUB and SBU. Doesnt matter which 1 i choose. The raspberrypi jusr says BATTERY/SOLAR. Doesnt swop them around
November 23, 20232 yr Send me the settings on your inverter i am out at installation site at the moment, then i can check tonight. Sorry i don't have Anydesk on my devices.

If you measure across top and bottom with a multimeter you should get the same voltage. Why do you think it is the fuses you do get solar readout on the inverter. If you have a dc clamp meter you can check the current and then compare to Anydesk readout. Send me parameter 01,05,12,13,16

November 23, 20232 yr @Christoffel suggestion, separate your dc stuff from your ac stuff. All together in that one box is quite risky and will cause major issues if you ever have a fire and want to claim from insurance.
