Seplos/Apexium BMS V2 10E to SunSynk CAN

Featured Replies

Hi, please can someone who has the same setup give me the cable pinout for the BMS side and the inverter side to connect the BMS to the SunSynk 5Kw inverter for CAN battery communication.

Thank you

My 280Ah Apexium with Seplos bms drifted to 156mv over a year at the extreme top of the charging cycle. I decided to do something about it this weekend and charged the 2 lagging cells with a XY-SK80. It only took a few hours to almost bring it in line again.... Seems the drift was quite small, looking at the time it took to sort out.

My take on this is as follows. If it is the same 2 cells lagging the BMS balances at such a low current that while the cells are being charged/discharged at high current it does not have enough time to balance. When keeping them grid charged then the balancing could be done day and night and also the discharge could be low - depending on actual timer settings.

The XY-SK80 is also charging much faster than what the BMS would be able to balance.
