September 28, 20241 yr Hello everyone I have a ags 4k vm iv twin inverter 5 months ago I updated the firmware to 60.89 and the home screen software to 22.20 Three days ago, I bought a lithium battery. Sorry for the late response; I somehow missed a block of posts about a week ago. Main firmware version 60.04 is available here: Display firmware version 39.06 is not in my collection; the earliest 39.xx firmware I have is 39.16. It is available here: https://forums.aeva.asn.au/viewtopic.php?p=100922#p100922 Edited October 3, 20241 yr by Coulomb Removed session ID from link
October 8, 20241 yr Author @كولومبI want the Display 39.06 program. When I download the 39.16 program or any other program, the device does not recognize the BMS CABLE and issues an error 61. What's wrong, please?

That sounds like a fault with the BMS cable or what it's plugged into, or the battery/protocol setting. Has it ever worked properly talking to the BMS? What is the exact battery model? What is the battery type setting? You mentioned LIP (typo? meant LIB?) and LIC; did these change after the display firmware update? Occasionally, the main firmware changes the mapping from settings to bit patterns in the EEPROM, so you may have to re-set some settings after a reflash. I don't think that the display firmware can affect this, but it might. Technically, you're supposed to revert to factory defaults after updating the main firmware, but most people don't bother as it's usually not needed.
October 23, 20241 yr @waaalid, please provide us with the name of your battery's BMS. I suspect that it's all about the cable or BMS communication setup, and your inverter has nothing to do with your issue, especially if it's a JK BMS. Did you ask for the seller's support first? First off, I'd suggest you stick to and update back to the latest MCU version available for your inverter's model (VM IV TWIN) which is MCU version 39.26, as it is the firmware mainly responsible for BMS communication. You can find the firmware you need in the collection we have in my thread for all relevant TWIN models. Edited October 23, 20241 yr by Tarek Yag
