Hi guys,

When the inverter is running from battery/ solar while utility is out,the elevated voltage between neutral and earth goes about 90v ac.I tried to bond them together on the output of the inverter but when I switch back to utility it trips the main earth leakage.

any suggestions on how to overcome this?

Thank you

You need to implement a bonding relay of sorts, one that bonds neutral to earth only when the utility is out and removes the bond before switching back to the utility. The newer Axpert inverters can do it. Slightly older models required an external bonding relay box. The very first ones could not do it at all. I have absolutely no idea what capabilities the Sinerji has. I believe it is a copy of the Axpert... so who knows...

It seems more like a work-alike, with at least some models having additional capabilities, like grid-tie modes. I'm starting to wonder if it's a Must Power clone, relabelled.

Well, the manufacturer should. Scour their websites, email your supplier.

Unfortunately, the wealth of Axpert knowledge built up over years from many owners sharing information doesn't necessarily help when it comes to these machines that look much the same on the outside, but aren't necessarily the same on the inside.
