November 7, 20241 yr Hi, everywhere says recommended max charging, but the lower you can is better??? I have 6 x 100amps, and i have 20k solar panels, its almost summer here so i have a lot of sun, im currently charging at 0.3 C, i know its safe but my questio is to better charge at 0.5 C? Or the lower the better??

A lower charge voltage also improves lifespan. This depends somewhat on what battery chemistry you have. Edited November 7, 20241 yr by HendrikBigChief

Yes for sure 0.2C is a good number. 3 hours ago, Tsmithf said: I have 6 x 100amps Just to confirm you have 600ah@48v so 6 x 5kwh batterye modules connected in parallel? 30kwh of battery capacity. If that is correct you have adequate solar power to fully charge the battery bank at 0.2C and service your loads. Edited November 7, 20241 yr by TaliaB
