March 19, 20251 yr Hi Guys. My Deye inverter data on Solarman is delayed by about 5-8min. Is there a way to get up to date data on consumption /production? I'm sure this question has been asked before here, but I'm battling to find it.

My system updates every 5min and it takes about 2 min before it can be seen on the APP. I guess even if you request data to be updated every minute you should still have the 5-8min delay you have now before you see it on the APP. Most free Apps have this delay. March 20, 20251 yr Even 60s is fairly useless, in my view, if your intention is to find out how your system is really performing. Electricity wise, weird things can happen in 60s, which you will not be able to track/find.

Electricity wise, weird things can happen in 60s, which you will not be able to track/find.Agreed, 60s is not good for real-time measurements or troubleshooting compared to other devices and assistants, but it's what you can get for free.Where I feel it makes a difference, is that it's no longer worth it to get up and walk to the inverter, as I would do if I had to wait for 5 minutes.

I only need to check the data once or twice a day, specifically on the cloudy/overcast days like Joburgs current gloomy weather. Other than that, the sunny days let my system far outperform my needs.

Seeing PV, SOC and loads is mostly what I need and is perfect. One can see it's a cloudy day in Gauteng. The days production is sometimes of more value to see the accumulated kWh than seeing a yo-yo.
