April 25, 20197 yr Author I think I finally got to some form of an answer. On the inverter as soon as you use the inverter to charge you battery bank, you need to have a dedicated input from the grid as the charger cause and imbalance once the charge kick in, which then cause the RCB to trip. Only alternative is to remove grid input from the inverter and charge batteries with a separate smart charger if you can't get a dedicated input from the grid, which in my case is the problem being installed in my motorhome I will not be able to ensure dedicated power supply.

What they seem to be saying is "our built-in charger is crap; replace it with an external one". That would mean that the charger is not fit for purpose, and you have reason for redress. First make sure that your RCD isn't unreasonably sensitive, and do the tests with no load as I suggested earlier. When you're sure your case is solid, come back at them with guns blazing; they need to repair or replace the inverter-charger.
April 25, 20197 yr Author Iāve tested the RCB circuit with the clamp meter which read 10mA after running under no load just battery bank and grid connected the RCB tripped again. Now removed the inverter and got it tested they confirm all in order. I will now change this for another make inverter. Will look for a 12V max 2,4 kw any suggestion what to go for?

If you have it like this, and you get a 10mA reading.... that's rather a LOT for a standing leakage.

But no matter what you get, I'd suggest 24āÆV minimum. At 12āÆV, the cables have to be so fat, and you still get wicked voltage drops, and it's really hard on the single battery. I know 12āÆV is convenient, but 2.4āÆkW from 12āÆV is going to be over 200 amps. Deep cycle batteries (unless they're 800āÆAh monsters) won't appreciate that. Attempting to parallel batteries for 100+āÆA is fraught with problems too.
April 26, 20197 yr Author Thanks for the info. I will look at the 24v option the battery bank for this would be 200AH. Though Iām saying a 2,4kw inverter this will only be used to drive the fridge freezer with startup of +- 600watt and to charge camera battery now and then or power up the laptop so 1000 watt should be sufficient. The rest aircon, microwave and hair dryer will com straight from the grid.
