Latest version of Watchpower?

Featured Replies

Hello all,

I am struggling to find the latest version of the Watchpower monitoring software. The Mecer website does not have the latest download link nor does the Watchpower website, it only has the 1.0 version.

Does any of you maybe know of a website where I can download the latest version? Because as it is now, I can't really use it as my inverter has two PV input displays(input directly to the house and input to the batteries) and this version only shows one.

Inverter: Mecer SOL-1-AX-5NB

Kind Regards,

Vulgrim

coulomb, I install the software but it does not read the inverter information, my inverter is off-grid MTS(china made) inverter

They're all made in China [ edit: the Axpert-like "off-grid" inverter-chargers ], the genuine Voltronic Power units are designed in Taiwan and manufactured in mainland China.

A quick search indicates that MTS are probably clones, possibly made by Must Power. Perhaps try the equivalent of WatchPower (if there is one) that would presumably be supplied by Must. I don't know much about the clones.

It's also possible that you don't have a compatible USB to serial adapter, if you're using one. Try using the other interface port (USB or serial), if your MTS machine has both.

The problem of monitoring and management for MPP Solar, Axpert, Voltronic inverters with Mobile App / Web Application can be easily solved with Enapter ENP-RS232-MPP communication module. The good thing about it that you don't need any computer or to monitor your inverter in realtime - just wi-fi and iOs / Android app. More information available here: https://solarmonitor.enapter.com

Does it - or can it, use Current Transformer ?

Current Transformer connected to power meter can help to measure Current and in the end energy consumption and power. This one allows also to change priority for Charger and Output + get Push Notifications about issues

Hi Doron

Were you able to find a supplier in RSA for this?
