vulgrim got a reaction from francois in My new Victron install.I have been using solar for about 6 years. Started with 1 Axpert 5 kw inverter and 8 BenQ 330 w panels. My Axpert got a surge and i replaced it with 2 Mecer 5 kw inverters and added 14 CNBN 330 w panels. But i could not use my BenQ panels. So i got rid of my 2 Mecer inverters and brought 3 Victron Multi 3000/48 inverters in parrellel . Running 15 CNBN on a 250/100 charge controller and my 8 BenQ on a 150/60 charge controller. I did the complete install my self.

Still waiting for my surge protector.
Still busy with the final wiring from the combinner box to the inverter.

vulgrim got a reaction from Chris Hobson in MPPT Charge controller.Yes I know I cannot exceed the mppt limit, all I am going to do is buy another Expert and run them in parallel. Then each inverter can run from 3000 WATT panels on the roof. (120 AMP)

vulgrim got a reaction from Chris Hobson in Vulgrim's DIY install.I must say these BenQ 330w panels are great. They are 21,3% efficient look at that figures 1.94 kw. I only got 6 on my roof.

We are very impressed WOW free electricity.
Max pv panels is 1980 watt.
