September 1, 20196 yr I wish I stayed here. Seems like they have all the rules & regulations sorted out.
September 2, 20196 yr At least you can't tell where the sun is coming up in the morning🤔 Eeny meeny miny moe😀 Catch a solar panel by the toe!
September 2, 20196 yr Author This is quite interesting. Go to Google maps, and use satellite view. https://www.google.com/maps/place/East+Austin,+Austin,+TX,+USA/@30.3228147,-97.7482922,19113m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x8644b5c60e80ca39:0xb99c4ce3c060266f!8m2!3d30.2654547!4d-97.7090635 The Part encircled by Yellow is Austin in Texas, try and find a solar panel in the area outside the Red circle, then zoom in on the houses in the red circle. Panels on almost 50% of the roofs only in that Suburb.
September 2, 20196 yr A bit of googling sheds some light on this. This is a redeveloped area, it used to be an airport. It's a 20 year project for a mixed-use neighbourhood, pedestrian friendly, sustainable, and so on and so forth. So the preponderance of PV in that area is by design, not by accident 🙂 Edited September 2, 20196 yr by plonkster
