September 13, 20196 yr Greetings, I'm looking for software including online tools that I can use for designing solar panel ground mount structures. I need to fabricate a mild steel structure on open ground for 15 No. 2 by 1 meter modules in 5 horizontal rows of 3 landscaped modules using mild steel angle and T bars supported by universal steel beams 3 meters above ground in concrete foundation. What do you folks use or recommend? Thank you.

September 14, 20196 yr Another vote for SketchUp - here's one I made earlier, just galvanised box and angle.

You might find something on the web. But my advice would be to first learn the basics of SketchUp. There is a lot of good tutorials available. If you do not first get a solid foundation on how to use the app you will end up with a terrible mess trying to cobble something together. Believe me i have been there.
