DIY Lithium/LifePo4 battery build
I have around 250kWh of Leaf cells running Victron ESS - not exactly a DIY task job as it all just bolts together.

Houston we have a problem
Vd isn't the sole variable to be considered when calculating wire guage.

Houston we have a problem
Manufacturers instructions always overule any local regulations, and certainly take presendence over assumptions regarding "looking about right"

Ah thanks, I thought you'd found a way of feeding a DC shunt of sensor data directly.

Batrium watchmon4
Assuming you have followed the Venus to WM4 connections correctly, and selected Automatic in Venus under Battery Monitor your WM will be found automatically, and assuming you have the shunt fitted you'll see the charge/discharge rates, shunt voltage and SoC within Venus. The toolkit settings for logic will largely be dictated by your battery, certainly in terms of cell voltages, and charge/limited charge rates - critical actions will depend on what means you have to load shed via shunt trips etc.
