February 3, 20206 yr Hello, I have a infinisolar 5,5kw since end of 2017, with a lot of bugs. the main cpu version U1 = 26 second CPU U2 = 30 one of my friend have the same model but from end of 2018, original main cpu and secondary cpu version was 30 and 33 He just update it with 34 and 38 cpu version. I wonder if i can update my inverter (cpu 26 and 30) with 34 and 38 version. Does the 2017 hardware model will accept it ? sory for my bad english. Many thanks.

February 11, 20206 yr Friend, no one dares to answer you because we don't know if anything has changed in hardware. Mine has a cooling problem when the batteries are charging, if yours is gone, there is a possibility that yours is correct in this regard and newer versions are being updated just to avoid an overheating error. I know the official site from Voltronicpower but there are no downloads for software / firmware, not even the computer manage-software. Would be nice if there is a source for such things because it was hard for me too get the CD-Rom software on my laptop because I have no optical drive.

You can at least get the Solarpower monitoring software from one of the larger resellers here: http://mppsolar.com/manual/SolarPower (hybrid)/ . They are very good at keeping their web site up to date.
