Featured Replies

Morning guys!

Woke up to no power any my axpert has no power, tried to switch it on and off, breakers are all good.

Is there anything on the inverter itself i can check?

You could apply the sniff test to see if something might have fried inside. Though Axperts do tend to emit a faint smell of burned components even when they're working fine.

Is it still under warranty? If not, open the cover to see if there is anything obvious. One of the "usual suspects" is hard to see, the line of MOSFETs along the right hand end of the case. Use a mirror or torch through the holes at the side to check for blown MOSFETs. Also check the larger semiconductors bolted to the middle heatsink. Sometimes the problem is as subtle as a hairline crack in the semiconductor's packaging.

But hopefully it's something simpler; as Jaco suggests, check the battery voltage at the inverter terminals first.
