Good morning if anyone could explain how to go about wiring the E-N bond on the backup output of the Goodwe Es I would highly appreciate it. I have searched the forum for an answer with no luck on a clear explanation. Thank you

@Weasel explained the other day that there is an unmarked terminal that you simply need to earth, and the bond will be made.

Apparently the reason they do it that way, is for flexibility. It allows you to connect that to a local earth spike (if so required in your area), or leave it unconnected and instead bridge the neutrals (TN-C-S setups), or earth to the council earth.

I've never seen one of these machines in the flesh, so you may want to check yours to be sure.

Based on comments read here, I’ve connected the unmarked point to earth as well on my system. Can’t comment if it’s working as it should, as I didn’t want to open my inverter to check if it’s connected internally. But from checking EN voltage with and without grid, there’s no floating going on so I’m happy with that.

Just do a before and after test. Disconnect the wire, measure voltage from neutral to earth (while running islanded of course). Repeat with wire connected. Post the results here so someone else can google into it.
