2x Axpert inverters Changing to Grid even when battery 70%

Featured Replies

Good day i need help.

I have a setup of 2 Axpert Inverters 1x Mks 5M Model and 1x MKS 4p Model with 5x Pylontech US200Bplus Batteries.

During Daytime the system will run Perfectly Fine on Solar and Battery but every night at around 19:00 when the batteries reach 70% or so the whole system will bypass to Grid until morning when Solar Panel start Charging. I have tried to lower to the Back to Grid Voltage to as low as 45v just to see if at least the batteries would be used unitl 10% SOC but no matter what i do the inverters change back to grid ? What am i missing here ?

? Are they truly paralleled, showing HA/MA and SL?

What main (U1) firmware versions are these?

What is your low battery cutoff voltage (setting 29)? See FAQ 2.

hi they are showing HA and SL yes firmware is 72.61?

Ah. So they are both PF0.8 models.

setting 29 i set as low as 45 but no luck ?

I've not heard of this. It's possible that it's a bug in the firmware; you could try updating to patched firmware version 73.00e (note: not factory firmware version 73.00, as you'll run into error 90 after 6 months operation). If you would rather stick to factory firmware, you could update to firmware version 72.70.

I just installed the Axpert (Synerji) MKS 5K inverter. As per battery manufacturer (LOECH) recommendation I set 29 (low DC cutoff voltage) to 40.6V. I set 12 (back to utility) Voltage to 47V. So far it works well. With little load it switches at about 10% battery charge. With 0.5C it would switch at about 20% charge. If there is a scheduled load shedding in the early morning hours before sunrise I would set 12 to 48V. 13 (back to battery) is set to 49V. It switches at about 20% charge.

Note that the geyser is heated with solar panel and its electric heating is connected to the grid.
