Deye Inverter + Dyness Battery causing Buzzing Noise from PC PSUs

Featured Replies

Hey,

I just installed a Deye 5KW Inverter with a Dyness 3.6KWh Battery. However, since moving over all my electronics to the Load/UPS output, all my PC (and game console) PSUs now constantly make a buzzing sound. Is this normal?

PS The inverter itself also makes a buzzing noise when running off the grid.

Are the grid settings attached below correct? And/or does anyone perhaps know what may be causing this?

Many thanks

Kind regards

Overblazze

Did you find a solution? I have the same experience with my recent installation. I use pylon batteries. I get the buzz sound, most audible on the microwave and less so on the fridge.

Unfortunately not. Had an installer redo my setup, but still have the buzzing noise

I've learned to live with it. Me and of of the guys who came to install were the only ones who could hear the sound. Everyone else, my family and the rest of the team that came to install, could not hear the buzzing sound. Maybe we have some strange super power laying dormant in us.

@melvin phutiYeah in my household, it's only my brothers and I that can hear it. Every other person I've asked can't hear it even with their ear right against it 🙈😂 My solution is to turn the setup completely off until load-shedding is announced.

So the conclusion must be we have super powers lol

Hey guys, just installed a new Deye 5.6KVA inverter today my main (Newest Samsung TV, and my PC) both have this buzzing which I cannot stand either.

Has anyone made any headway to finding a solution as yet?

Just had a new inverter installed (swap out from Fridays one) same issue.

going to sell it and get an RCT I think.

See here

Request a firmware upgrade to v3384  specifically mentioning the noise, with the "remote grid change"  to be done to change the sound to 20khz

Bought the Mecer Axpert 5.6K MKS. Over these Deye things and their unresolved issues :( that sound omitting from my appliances was destroying my brain as well as my soul.

2 days troubleshooting and a full rewire of the house, to no avail.

Replaced it with the Mecer - noise gone.
