I have a the same inverter with 2 x Pylon 3000's - By me the inverter provides solar power to output no problem. You will see in the graph that I'm charging the batteries in the morning and then heat up a geyser at around 12:30 (You'll see the load shoots up - with the battery filling in for the cloudy bits):

Thank you for the help. It is only when my battery is 100% charged that the inverter does not provide solar to the load for short periods, even when solar power is available.

Might be the firmware...

I am on 72.00 and U2 is 2.70, not 2.66 as posted earlier.

Yip - Maybe give the firmware a go. 

Mine would not connect to a Pylontech C series battery for love or monay before that firmware - so I think it might be worth it.

I got Segen Solar on the phone and had them walk me through it - if it then bricks it was under their instruction...

Edit: But 71.97 (for the main DSP) is fairly old now, and it known to have issues with solar. Sadly, the newer display firmware (02.70) almost certainly won't help with that. There is mention of 72.00, but it sounds like it's still not fixed there.

I suspect that Voltronic will only give out a firmware update if they are sure it's needed to fix a particular customer's problem, and the customer has complained sufficiently hard. Sadly. This will presumably be because of the clone situation.

Hi. Yes. The battery BMS connection is working(battery icon flashing). Kodak is still trying to resolve this issue. Will update as soon as there is any progress.

Hi Coulomb. Do you know if this is a common issue on the axpert king  5kW inverters (not using solar power correctly, when the battery is 100%). So there are no solution that you know of to resolve this issue? Do you think that the kodak might be a clone?

Yes, you can find plenty of posts mentioning this issue, or ones that sound similar to me (I don't use a King in everyday use).

No. I have found some suspicious code, and when I get back to King firmware I'll try it out. I put the changes of success at very roughly 25%.

I'm about 99.5% sure that the Kodaks are not clones, but sadly I don't know of a way to be totally sure.

I started comparing removable display firmware version 02.66 with version 02.70; it's a many-hour job. So far, the only differences won't make much difference to the actual action of the code, although many changes make the new code shorter (meaning it takes more work for me to compare them). One difference that caught my eye is that warning code 69 is back! So many people had complained about "error 69" (conflating the warning with an actual error) that they ripped the code reporting this error from the firmware, at least in version 02.66. I thought that was a bit drastic, as it would sometimes be good to know that the BMS has commanded "don't charge". But fear not, all you warning 69 haters, it will only be displayed now if the SoC is less than 90%. I suspect that this will be a good compromise: it should not turn up often, but when it would be important, it will still show up.
