If one only uses Sunsynk to control battery for load shedding (no solar yet) then how should one configure the system mode? Just untick “use timer” or “tick timer” and set all to 100% with grid charge ticked?

And enable grid charge in battery settings otherwise it will not recharge when the grid comes back online. 

@Achmat, can't remember now, if use timer is un-ticked, won't the inverter charge the batteries, without the grid charge being ticked in battery settings ??

Thanks! If I have solar and use the system mode then do I need to tick grid charge in battery - I never use grid to charge battery on my own setup - what is Grid Signal?
