That is fine. I'd suggest to increase the discharge amps to 111A, and the charge amps can even be a bit lower, say 80A. The current 40A is almost too low to be practical, though some might say that's the way it should be to protect the battery.

I've now had my solar set-up for about a month, and thought I would share my initial thoughts and have some questions.
My set-up consists of:
12 x 460w solar panels - 6 on each MPPT, 1 string facing NE and 1 facing NW. 2 x 3.5 Pylontech batteries 1 x 8kw Sunsynk Inverter Photos of the set up attached.
Very happy with the work. Neat and unobtrusive.
I have everything (except underfloor heating) running through the UPS side of the Inverter, and also have 2 solar geysers.
Now that its winter, and need to use the element to top up the geysers, I have set the timers to come on in the middle of the day when the sun is shining, and the geysers remain hot enough for night time showers.
My batteries are currently getting me though the night, until the geysers kick in at 05:00, which then quickly depletes the battery and Eskom takes over.
Had originally thought I may purchase an additional battery, but seem to be fine for now with 2.
Ofcourse I want to preserve the system to last as long as possible and therefore have a few questions, which I am hoping some of the forum's experts can answer?
Will these batteries still last the expected 10 years even though am cycling them currently from 100% to 20% every night? Even though these batteries have a DoD% of 95%, I have set the SOC% not to go below 20%. Am I being too cautious or can I cycle the batteries down to about 10% SOC every night. What should I do if I am away from home for about 4 weeks? Is it fine to keep the system connected? My concern is the batteries sitting at such a high SOC% for so long as will have almost nothing depleting the battery at night. Must also just say how amazing this forum has been.
Would never have been able to make such an informed decision about my set-up without this forum. You guys are great!

I have three phase supply , on one phase I have the inverter, which has geyser, tumble dryer,washing machine, dishwasher, pool pump, kettle, microwave, one aircon and all plug/lights. On the second phase, I have the electric oven and two seldom used air cons and the third phase is for a cottage.

With 1 x Sunsynk, 2 phases will be powered directly from the Grid. The 3rd phase will be powered from your inverter. Try and get most every day items onto the phase powered by the inverter like geysers etc so as to reduce your energy consumption.
With 2 x US3000C the BMS will have a 74A limitation however on the battery charge page, set the discharge and charge amps to 70A just so that the inverter does the protecting which is better for the battery.

Sunsynk for sure. The UI is great,
And Sunsynk sounds cool, it's a proper noun, cannot be confused with a similar sounding adjective 😉 Not sure what the Die marketing people were thinking at the time.

Mark M reacted to Tariq in Passthrough on Sunsynk Hybrid Inverteryour information is correct, I have a 5 kW Sunsynk, with grid available I can go up to 8 kW, so far I have pushed 7.65 kW, I have the dishwasher, washing machine, tumble dryer, pool pump on non-essential circuits ( stuff you can live without for a few hours ). Only one kitchen socket is connected to essential circuits, so during load shedding we use an extension cord to connect the microwave or kettle, this feature reminds everyone in the household of the fact not to switch on those two appliances together
