Valken reacted to Youda in Pylontech uneven dischargeHi @Valken
I have 7x US3000, 74Ah per brick nominal. Being in production from 3/2019. As of today, these are the reported capacities for the each brick:
73.904 Ah
74.004 Ah
73.864 Ah
73.092 Ah
74.008 Ah
74.004 Ah
73.204 Ah
Nominal capacity = 518.00 Ah
Reported capacity = 516.08 Ah
Ping me after couple of weeks and I will post an update here.
BTW, you can check your bricks using the diagnostic software: https://powerforum.co.za/topic/2322-youdas-off-grid-lab/page/2/?tab=comments#comment-53641

Valken got a reaction from Jaws in Axpert Inverter MKS 5K-48v 4000w MPPT For SaleHi All,
My apologies. I still have the inverter but i was let down (Due to high demand) with my replacement unit. I will put up the unit soon again.
Sorry for the inconvienience. I will still honor first members that responded.

Valken reacted to ___ in Trojan T105 RE Batteries not going to Float? They do reach full charge under lower voltage but it takes a lot more time.

Valken got a reaction from ___ in Trojan T105 RE's with Axpert 5KVA and BMV702Hi All,
Ok, let me start with directing the question to SuperDIY and Viper as you guys have the same equipment.
1. At what voltage do you charge your T105RE's and at what voltage do you float?
2. What setting are you using on your BMV 702 for charge detection and tail current?
My SOC goes to 100% way to quick. I just have the one bank of (8 X 6V) T105RE's
Thank you,
Regards.

Valken got a reaction from Regie in TESLA Power wall 10KWI know it's overpriced! But it does look nice and helps when you have limited space ;-)

Valken got a reaction from viper_za in Axpert 5kva Settings with BMV 702 and AICCBaie Dankie Viper! Setting 23 het die trick gedoen! Airconditioner sit aan en Inverter se nie eers Boe of Ba nie! Bly nou op Solar/Battery Mode!

1 yes this is normal, the inverter powers itself from the batteries when on utility mode 22w is better than my best of 23
2 what time was this? I see you have back to solar at 6AM.
3 Check what setting 23 is on your inverter, might be what is happening
Overload bypass:
When enabled, the unit will transfer to line mode if overload occurs in battery mode.

That's how we roll, we help, discuss the help, get distracted and then we do the same to the next post

I'm making an image of the Rpi distro now. I'll post a link here in a few minutes, soon as I have the wifi details and stuff sanitised :-)

Valken got a reaction from viper_za in Axpert 5KVA Relationship between charge parameters and Solar outputOk..Sooo..
Although i know my battery bank is not ideal (at all) This should not affect my available power to my house from PV during the day(Sun permitting of coarse)
So my problem is most likely the voltage that is too low which causes the MPPT controller to disconnect itself when dropping below 60V? Which i can fix by adding two more panels and changing the string set-up.

Valken got a reaction from viper_za in Axpert 5KVA Relationship between charge parameters and Solar outputHi Jaco..Lol. Can you really have too many pannels. Because i had 10 X 300W (Not 12 X 250W) panels i could only wire them up in 5 X 2
The charging is fine now and the Solar balance now seem to work corectly. I suspect the issue to be firstly the fact that the MPPT drops out the moment the voltage drop below 60V - This should be fixed when i add two more panels which will alow me to wire them in a 4 X 3 setup which will give it a higher voltage. I was just not sure if you could actually go over the rated max of 3000W for the 5KVA.
