Good morning - I am in the process of selling my US2000 batteries and the potential buyers are, not unreasonably, asking for condition report, cycle and cell report etc. I have read up on using Battery View to get read this details, but based on my severe lack of any technical and IT skills the probability that I can succesfully do this is very close to zero. Are there any forum members in Pretoria who can come out to my house and has the expertise, prior experience experience and neccessary calbles to use the Battery View software to get the required reports on my batteries?? I am off-course willing to pay for your time and experience!!

Good morning All I have a 8kw Sunsynk inverter currently with 3 Pylontech US2000 batteries (after 2 very swollen US2000's were removed last week). These 3 remaining batteries are insufficient to carry my house load for 24hrs which is the minimum battery capacity I want, and I need to buy additional batteries (and sell the Pylontech's (about 4 years old) for whatever they are worth). At the same time want to use this as an opportunity to upgrade given that the Pylontech 48v batteries are obsolete (the US and UP ranges). I want to get good quality batteries with extensive track record locally and overseas (not just a brand engineered battery) and don't mind spending a bit extra - I am however not crazy enough to spend huge amounts on BYD batteries etc. Quality is more impoortant to me than R/kw cost. The batteries I am currently considering are: Eenovance (either 2x10kw or 1x15kw) Deye - same sizes as Eenovance above (seeing that DEYE is apparently the same as the Sunsynk but with better service) Possibly Pylontech UF5000 or Pylontech Fidus (the DoD is interesting, but I'm not really convinced about buying Pylontech again) Am I leaving out other brands to consider, and which of the above options would people recommend ?? I also want a plug-and-play solution with no need to update firmware etc. Apart from the above, can anyone recommend a proper installer in Pretoria who can install the new batteries for me?? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Good morning - I hope someone can assist. I installed a solar system (5kw solar panels, 5kw inverter, 12kn Li batteries) at my house approx. 6 years ago, and the had numerous initial problems caused by installers not knowing what they are doing etc. I now want to install a load shedding solution at my mom's house (initially 5kw Sunsynk, 3.5ke Pylontech but possible solar panels and increased battery bank later) and need to find a reputable installer in the Pretoria East area who knows what they are doing and whose installation will work perfectly from the start - my mom is in her late 70's and need a totally reliable solution without any drama. Can anyone recommend a reliable installler - not just a bakkie electrician suddenly jumping on the solar and load shedding bandwagon claiming to be an expert??? Thanks in advance

Hi - getting lots of views to my ad but no offers, I really just want to prevent a long dragged out sale process where I try forever to get the maximum sale price and accordingly will drop my guide price to around R12 000. Hi - I think at least R16 000 for all 4 batteries should be fair (anything more would off-course not be refused!). My reasoning in arriving at the amount is that the performance of all 4 the batteries combined should at least equal the performance of 1.5 new US2000 batteries. Are my expectations wholly unrealistic? I have no idea what used batteries are worth Forgot to add - any interested party is off-course free to come to my house and test the batteries 1st Regards

Good morning to all the guru's (I am technical ignoramus - and Newbie on this site, plse excuse any breaches of protocol - I have posted this same message under the battery topic sub/old existing thread) I just replaced the previous batteries on my system with 3 Pylontech US3000C batteries - similar to other people (Deejay and Occo in a different thread) I have problems connecting the battery BMS to my inverter as the US3000C has a RS485 port while my inverter has a RS232 comms port. I have a Solax SK-SU5000E inverter. I see that that Deejay and Occo found a solution for their comms cable problems and if anybody could help me to similarly find out what the pinouts must be to connect the batteries to my inverter I would be extremely grateful. Even if someone can just give me a reference to an expert who might know - After spending what I consider to be a lot of money on the batteries which are currently paperweights I would really be willing to pay a lot for a solution!! I have contacted the battery supplier and Solax, but without any joy to date.
