  1. I have given up with any form of intelligent support from Goodwe. Neither solargo or pvmaster are in any way reliable. Sisanda and Crystal help as far as they can. My solution has been to have the support ladies set my inverter to ECO mode with charging set 24/7 @50% charge rate and have a contactor on the "in" side of the inverter which I control remotely via a Sonoff smart switch. I monitor my system remotely in real time using CEF's clever software, and energise my contactor if and when I need a little boost during rainy weather. I have not had to connect to the grid since about early August anyway, so am kinda off grid for 8 to 9 months of the year. 7kW of panels and 10,5 kWh of Pylontech US3000 batteries. Wife well trained w.r.t usage.
  2. Great inverter, but both Solargo and PVMaster are SO unreliable. Strange that Goodwe can change your settings in a flash, but cannot provide a reliable windows app that you can manage ALL settings yourself. High level support doesn't exist in SA.
  3. Email me. I'm in Cape Town. [email protected]
  4. Where are you located?
  5. I find the SEMS Portal to be getting slower by the day. At one stage I had David, the local support guy, change my update time from 30 to 10 seconds, but it seems to only update every 60 seconds now. I use CEF's brilliant monitoring tool when at home, but when travelling I have to rely upon the SEMS Portal. Wish there was a reliable alternative.
  6. Awesome application. Much better than a device mounted LCD that dictates standing in the garage watching a local screen. I can now monitor my system live from any remote location with instantaneous data instead of roughly 1 minute delays on the SEMS Portal. More info than I need (and maybe understand) but brilliant all the same. Just a pity i can't get the run time installed on a tablet. Thanks for all the time you clearly put into this development Cef. Much appreciated.
