sharkut reacted to Coulomb in BETA FIRMWARE AXPERT MAX 8 KW >>>MPPT improvement<<< (Based on stable 90.06)I think you're looking at battery-side current. Half an amp at 50 V is only 25 W; barely enough to get the power supply started.
The 0.05 A threshold is panel current, something that is rarely reported by inverters or their monitoring software.
Please check your PV power for the same period.

sharkut got a reaction from Maurizio69 in Firmware Axpert Max Twin 11KI regularly check Voltronic FTP and good news it seems a firmware for you has been published 13th march
Infortunately I don't have any other information other than It's for MAXE 11KW TWIN

MPPT 2 screenshot today (very cloudy)
MPPT 1 yesterday (light cloud)

sharkut got a reaction from Coulomb in Firmware Axpert Max 8K 72.66I agree with you, I think simple is often the best and in my opinion original minium 200V @Georg594 (or 175V) MPPT patches was always the best solution today.
Shade Management version was working but less power in cloudy weather than forced 200V and in my case with shingled module I think there is less benefits as you say
Wait for 72.66 test but i'm not too confident

sharkut got a reaction from Coulomb in Firmware Axpert Max 8K 72.6602 february 2023 was released new DSP firmware for 28066 Axpert MAX 1 8K model on EASun FTP hosted by Voltronic
Version number is 72.66
Is someone already tried it ?
@Coulomb, if you have time, can you check changes since 72.62 last known firmware

sharkut got a reaction from Coulomb in Axpert chipset chatterI Can confirm that fact. I have flash 112.xx version with 12.21 with success no brick 2 month ago.
But be careful since i don't open my display so i can't confirm chipset model.
But the best explaination seems that 12.21 is compatible with 2 chip model

sharkut got a reaction from MarcB2007 in AXPERT MAX 8 KW SHADOW MANAGEMENT Firmware upgrade BETA & (still based on stable 90.06)I would love testing this since I have lot of shadow sometimes but I need Coulomb to patch again 92.06 (or 172.62 but I didn't test it so i don't know if It's better for me) version for 28066 DSP with those tweaks if he can.

sharkut reacted to Coulomb in BETA FIRMWARE AXPERT MAX 8 KW >>>MPPT improvement<<< (Based on stable 90.06)Fair to middling chance 😉 It's "just" one byte in the .inv file, and one more to change the displayed version number to 92.06, but I'd confused 91.04 and 92.04 (they are very similar), and it took a while to untangle all that.
So here it is:
MAX_8K_28066_9206 patched.zip
I hope that there isn't an official 92.06 (or 92.05), since that would add confusion.
As always, use at your own risk. It should be pretty safe because it's only two bytes different from 92.05, and you or someone else has presumably already tested that.
This is a TMS320F28066 firmware, so DO NOT USE THIS if your inverter has a TMS320F2809 dsp chip. For example, if your inverter works with main firmware version 90.06, or (I hope I got this right) with version 46.xx, then don't use this patched firmware.

sharkut reacted to Steve87 in Lost with LiFePO4 charging parametersThe Neey works well. The Daly Balancer is rubbish 😂

sharkut got a reaction from Steve87 in Lost with LiFePO4 charging parametersFloat set at 53,6v, after one week and neey balancer installation everything is working well balance between cells now reach 0,001mV. Daly balancer equalize too but very slowly

sharkut got a reaction from Coulomb in Easun axpert max 8kw firmwarePreviously I tried update with 90.06 (modified 200V MPPT) with ReflashXTool and display was showing UPG yes but return to main screen after 3 seconds and nothing else happened
So after I update my DSP from 72.03 to 92.05 (modified version with MPPT 200V) with ArenaINVFlash tool
I follow the file included in archive : MAX DSP 28066 Firmware Upgrade SOP via RS232.pdf
My inverter was power ON with AC grid, no consumption at all and PV disconnected
Connection of RS232 cable (delivered with inverter) and USB adapter,
Opening ArenaINVFlash tool and click Update after checking COM port is OK
Same as file said UPG Yes was displayed on and firmware update start with Fan at maximum speed
6 minutes after all was done and it return to main screen with ac out reconnected
After that I use update to 12.21 on the forum too
Click on update MCU after checking COM port is ok
The Update start and AC out wasn't disabled. the update was slower than DSP.
The panel screen seem freeze to last display during update but no blank or black screen
After update it simply return to main screen.
That's all so nothing special.
The only thing that doesn't work anymore is the rgb led bar. It remain unresponsive showing very little red light. All other is working correctly including WiFi, USB/RS232 commands

sharkut got a reaction from Coulomb in BETA FIRMWARE AXPERT MAX 8 KW >>>MPPT improvement<<< (Based on stable 90.06)Thank you very much Coulomb and Georg594, it's awesome !
Only few time since sunset and i can already notice great improvements.
I wait a whole day and I will post comparison graph
We are at least 2 now who need 28066 flash command, and I can confirm that the old reflash tool never worked for me too since the first time so it seems not to be a mistake of Easun/Voltronic engineer.
