Solar RO reacted to aamilev in Axpert chipset chatterPlease be aware that I fugured out that 12.21 is not applicable for both Chipsets!
I tested myself without success and return back to 112.19.
I chaged my Invertors to 11kW and Display doesn't matter the Inverter Rating. Displays can be changed.

Solar RO got a reaction from Coulomb in Axpert 11kW inverter is sun shyIs not noisy; after 57.61 is more efficient in cloudy day; I can't say 90 V is solved entirely, but is diminished.

Solar RO got a reaction from PurePower in Pylontech US3000C FirmwareYes, use the newest as master, having the most recent firmware, as Tinbum said.
I believe that it's matters also if you have the battery connected to inverter or not. But this I think is not applicable to you, having Growatt and Pylontech combination.
However, is recommended to have same firmware on all batteries for same brand, it's avoid having balancing differences.
I experienced this with older firmware to a stack of four Pylontech 3000C, had the master on 1.7 and two batteries with 1.4 and one with 1.2, purchased at different moments of time. They charge full equally, but after few weeks they discharged differently. solved by flashing 1.7 to all; now on 1.8.

Solar RO reacted to Coulomb in Easun axpert max 8kw firmwareI believe that all the display firmwares will issue a QMCHGCR command to the DSP to find out the maximum charge current for that model. So in that sense, the displays are all pretty much universal.
But there are limitations on other settings and commands. I think that the main determinant is the QGMN command (Query General Model Number), most display firmwares only handle a few model numbers.
It seems to me that it would make sense to merge a lot of the display firmwares and make a few fairly universal ones.

Solar RO reacted to JDAVIES94 in BETA FIRMWARE AXPERT MAX 8 KW >>>MPPT improvement<<< (Based on stable 90.06)Based on what I've witnessed over the past couple cloudy days I would consider this 95% fixed. It still sits at around 100v longer than I would say is perfect. However it does get going much quicker without missing out on too much power. I would say that over the course of the day I'm loosing no more than 2-300wh. Not sure if this fix can be translated into the 8kw model but that is beyond my scope of knowledge.

Solar RO got a reaction from Youda in Pylontech US3000C FirmwareCorrect!
The safest way is to use the flashing tool included into archive; read the included pdf.
Flash using the instructions , as Randmetal said; check inside the attached archive; downloaded from Effekta site. last version; https://www.effekta.com/download/firmwareupdate-for-us2000c-3000c/
Note: if you flash entire zip, with both bin files inside, the flashing tool will identify what type of processor you have (new or old; v2.xx or v1.xx) and will flash automatically the correct file; flash by using the tool from archive. this is the safest way to flash; don't flash only the bin file, you risk to don't match the correct version with HW;

Solar RO reacted to Coulomb in Need firmware DSP for iSolar smw 11kw twinThen it's an ISolar, not an iGrid.
So is the display removable or fixed?
-
Solar RO reacted to Coulomb in Need firmware DSP for iSolar smw 11kw twinAre you sure it's an iGrid? I thought all those were on-grid (grid tie and capable of export); 90.06 is for an Axpert which is off-grid (non grid-tie, tries never to export).
Do you use the "twin" feature? That presumably has an extra (set of?) relay(s) that firmware for standard (non-twin. non-duplex) models won't have.
There is one 11 kW firmware that I'm aware of, on this very forum. But first, is yours a model with the removable display, or is it one with the newer colour display inside a round LED ring?
I may be able to patch this firmware for the 90 V PV problem. It seems to be plaguing all MAX models.
Edit: It may be that firmware for removable displays is the same as that for colour displays; firmware version numbers are so confusing.

Solar RO reacted to Coulomb in Need firmware DSP for iSolar smw 11kw twinWhy do you feel that you need to update your display firmware?
The only one with that major version number that have is 112.19, possibly not much later than your 112.14.

Solar RO reacted to mihaigsm2003 in Need firmware DSP for iSolar smw 11kw twinThi is Model:
This come to me with no communication with pylonytech. I try many version of display (MCU U2) no way to communication. After, i write DSP firmware for 8kw, now i have communication, but inverter show in application 8000W as model.
Original Vers was 64.03 for U1 and 38.04 for U2

Solar RO got a reaction from mihaigsm2003 in Need firmware DSP for iSolar smw 11kw twinThank yooouuu!
Flash worked very well (used the cable with 1 kohm resistor hack on white wire)
Now i have 112.19! Watchpower certify this by version number, and it's kept 11 KW, version of Axpert Max 1 - MPP Solar 11kw)
I connected MPP Solar inverter with the Pylontech battery bank with cable ( 3-8; 5-7 pins) and now communication with battery works!
Thank you very much Coulomb for your valuable work!
and to Mihai for opening this topic
