Hi All, I am wanting to heat my pool but I don’t want to use Eskom at all, I have 16x 550w panels, should I use my existing panels or do I need to install new panels with a new inverter etc? I’m thinking of going with a 13kw heat pump….my pool is around 55000L suggestions and thoughts welcome please thank you in advance

Has anyone had this installed? would like to know the pros and cons my current solar setup gets me between 9-17kwh per day. I would only like to run my heat pump off my solar panels during the day when the sun is at is highest. any suggests?

Yes and they’ve been installed for 47 days, my question is with this amount of cycling won’t that decrease the battery life? I already have 59 cycles on pack 1 and 47 cycles on pack 2. Is this normal?

Hi forum, I have had my batteries installed for around 1 1/2 months and I have 59 cycles on the one battery and 47 cycles on the other, is this a lot? I’m concerned that the batteries will need replacement quite soon…pls help

Hi All, I connected up my cable and voila I have the stats I was looking for, thank you all for all the guidance. Really appreciate it. One thing I have 2x 5.12 SHOTO SDC-Box5 batteries however the stats are showing 100ah capacity, is this correct?

Hi, I recently purchased the software for SA and then couldn’t get hold of a raspberry PI which then led me to buy the PI with the software from Solar Assistant. I’m looking to sell the software now and transfer the licencing as it’s no longer required. would just like to cover my cost of R899 but offers are welcome. thanks,

I got it connected from the Solar Assistant device to the battery, changed the connection in SA battery settings to USB /DALY UART, connected successfully but now I’m getting 0% SOC and a bunch of packs in my SA views. I suspect that this cable is a problem. 🤦🏼‍♂️
