H1771 got a reaction from GreenFields in Deye inverters time of use (power) setting question
    It does work 😁
After setting all to zero, battery is at 95% in the morning. So it used the grid the whole night.
Not sure why when I tried it yesterday I could not get it to split between battery/grid, maybe it takes some time to take effect after changing the setting and I was being too impatient.
Thanks for the replies, sorry for the noise.

This has been my setup since Day 1 with loadshedding at its peak.
Haven't changed the system at all. Uses battery for the house all night and then solar when the sun comes up.

This is unusual. The "Power" column specifically restricts the amount of power supplied from the battery. Try to change the end time for that slot, ie. don't let your time slots all end at 00:00, split it up to end say at 9pm for Time4, then end at 10pm for Time 5. No guarantee that this will resolve the issue, but I've got a similar setup that also limits my power drawn at various times in the evening (eg. when my geyser timer is running), and it works well like that. Maybe double-check that the system time on the inverter is perfectly correct, although looking at your screenshot and posting time, it might not be the real issue either.

My inverter is installed in my garage and during summer it gets quite hot in Bloemfontein. When you park a hot car in there it gets even hotter. I realized the Inverter DC side reached temperatures of near 90 degrees during midday. I installed 3 x 120mm computer fans on top with a temperature controller switching the fans on and off. The thermistor is attached to the heatsink. The heatsink temperature is about 20 degrees below the internal temperature indicating by the app. With the fans the temperature stays below 60 degrees.
I 3D printed the bracket and bought the temperature controller from an online store for under R200 with a 12V powersupply. Is anybody is interested visit Thingiverse:Thing6468217 to get the STL files for the bracket. (Search Sunsynk 5kW)

Interesting on your inverter. On my Deye the UPS shows zero when no PV and no grid used. The battery draw is close to identical to the consumption. Part of the consumption is self use by the inverter.
