    Hi to everyone, 
    What can cause to burnt this panels up to this level. Of course not mine but pasted from Facebook group.

    There could be various reasons for the failure and damage in your picture but the most common hazard on solar arrays is ARC FLASH. 
    The types of Arc Flash that can be generated within the solar industry are another major risk. With arcs capable of reaching more than 3000 degrees Celsius in temperature, these arcs not only cause fires but can also melt materials such as glass and metals including copper and aluminium. This can subsequently ignite any combustible materials and items in the surrounding area. In the solar industry, it is not only the direct risks of arc flash that must be considered but also the many possible indirect risks, too.
    Improper crimping of MC4 connectors, loose connection in combiners, damaged solar cables ,damaged solar panels(micro cracks) can all lead to arc flash. Great care need to be taken when installing solar panels as dc is not as forgiving as ac curcuits.

    We install a change over to switch the grid to the inverter output so that one can remove the inverter for repairs without having to do wiring changes. Thus no need to get the electrician out. 
    Faults have a nasty habit to happen at night and over weekends with nobody available to assist.

    Inverters are meant to use both live and neutral. Perhaps even the Tiger would work correct if wired correct. Remember the utility neutral you don't want to connect to inverter neutral. Rather use a transfer switch and we also do a neutral to earth bond via a relay. 
    May be get a sparky to assist when you install the Luxpower. But try to find one with experience on the Luxpower.

    For the time your inverter/battery/genset are unavailable would be my guess.

    Two scenarios spring to mind:
    1) in the event that you need to bypass the inverter and operate from supply only, for maintenance or in event of a solar system failure.
    2) You may have a supply changeover to switch manually from eskom to generator, as it enters the building?
    But i guess it depends on your implementation of your solar system.
