SPD's are great for near strikes, just a bit slow, I'd say for a direct strike... SPD's are for surge, not for lightning?

I got the Kodak OG and by accident pressed the on off switch on my new svolt batt while all was connected and running. I only noticed it when the no battery warning came up the screen. I even opened the batt switch and closed it again before I realised I switched it off at the switch. This was a few days ago and up to now all is good.

Good day. I'm having the same problem on my Kodak OG 5. 48 and a new svolt battery. I tried the customized cable with pins 3 to 8 and 5 to 7 but nothing. My u1: 41.16 u2: 02.40 u3: 00.24 No u4. Any advice please.

Try Revelator Systems, they got stock of all and they use The Coerier Guy. I got my batt from them in 2 days from Pretoria to KZN at a price nobody could beat. I'm also looking at the 6kw Lux.

Spoke to a sparkie regarding a COC for my solar system and he said they cannot give a COC if the system is not registered. They're not allowed to do the DC side without registration. Any comments?

Good day. My system is almost complete and I'm about to switch it on. 5.48kw Kodak inverter, 10x455w JAL panels 2p5s and a 3.5kw supercap batt. What is the sequence for switching it on, check everything and then switching off please. Thank you

Thanks Justin. I'v looked at hundreds of installation pics and 99.9% the batt cables and inverter PV in comes out the same trunking.

Only saw this topic after I allready posted. Can I put PV DC wires in conduit through an ACDB and into trunking to the inverter which has AC wiring and the DC batt cable. Thank you.
