Well spotted, incorrect cable with DB9.
Has ordered the correct cable with RJ11/12.
All 3 batteries have old firmware and degraded capacity, with one showing ~50Ah/SoH 50%. All cells had normal voltage with little variation.
Call to be logged to upgrade firmware.

    Hi all,
    I have a 2400va geewiz invertor with 4x 100ah LA batteries(Royal)
    Batteries are about 14months old.
Used to power a marine tank return pump only(100w), moved to solar plus batteries a few months back no need for this.
Batteries never drained below 60% SOC.
    Not willing to spilt
    Not willing to ship.

    REPORT BACK:
Okay, it's been a month or so since Hubble came out did my firmware on my battery (and the other 3 we bought).    I was furious, there was a problem, and I set my media team on dismantling them, but decided to give them a chance first.
So, what is the outcome?   The batteries (at least in my batch) definitely had a firmware bug, and SOC would disappear overnight and I was left with a useless battery - one which died with 5 x Philips Hue GU10 bulbs killing it in 30min during loadshedding.    The guys who came out explained that the global chip shortage necessitated a change in controller or something, and this was the issue, and also that SunSynk blah blah.
They updated the battery and I was promptly out of the country for two weeks, then back for a week that all looked good, then I travelled again, but upon checking both via loadshedding, and the Inverter running off battery during the night, all looks good.  I have no idea on the 110ah vs 105ah argument (above my skill set) but I'm getting the hours and percentages that make sense to me, and it looks like the firmware is good.    I want to add another battery, and I'm satisfied enough (currently) to call up Steve here on PowerForum and order another AM-2.     Granted, the red flags on alternate chemistry of the batteries, the changing ah values and the double cycle counts are worrying, but I figure since it's already installed and working, I'll take the chance.
I do think however Hubble has handled this VERY poorly.   Instead of turning it into a total brand win and loyalty building exercise for almost no money, they dug in and took me ranting online to solve the issue (seems solved at least, which means my pitbull of a team is chilled).    But it's a small batch (apparently) and they should be hiring a team of two, giving them a branded vehicle, laptop and getting lists of where it's sold and setting a schedule to GO TO people and have it sorted.  Dont put it on your installers (who already told me that they are using other batteries) or consumers.   Two dudes, fuel and a car is super cheap to bury a problem, that with literally 2 people and effort could zero demand for your brand.
Build on your product, offer the right service.  Hands on service.   You'll kill everyone else.
TL;DR version.   New firmware fixed the draining SOC problem.   Happy enough at the moment to buy a second battery for my house installation.   Suggest that they hire a proper brand managenent / customer care consultant to fix their awful approach to handling a PR disaster.

    Update: 1 June 2022
It's been 2 weeks 3 days since I updated the firmware on the 4xAM-2.
    So far all good.
SoH 100%🙂 and Capacity 105Ah😢 per battery.

The firmware installation was done with with a Windows 10 laptop and USB/RS232/RJ10 console cable

EDIT: had to do a discharge to 20% and charge to 100% for reported SoC to match actual SoC.

Thank you Jason and Powerforum store.
I have my one hubble installed, most likely the 2nd one tomorrow or Tuesday.
Current one seems good. I will see when the 2nd one is installed.
My first one I purchased in Feb 2022, not sure if it's the ones with the issue.

Hello guys anyone with problems with your Hubble Batteries please contact me directly via email [email protected]
There is a batch of batteries that has a SOC and SOH Issue with the Firmware on the BMS it is not a Hardware Problem I need to Send a list of Clients to Hubble so we can Identify who has the problem.
Those that have RIOT Cloudlinks send the Serial number of your cloudlink and the Serial number of you batteries that you suspect has problems to me Please note the batteries with the problems are only the ones between DEC 2021 and MAR 2022 and it is not all of them there are just a few with the Defective Frimware Version as far as we can see it seems to be one batch. Hubble Lithium Promised me that they will do everything with in reason to resolve the problems with that batch asap.
Those of you that have RIOT Cloudlinks has an advantage because the battery can be tested Using the Built in Battery analyzer this will enable us to identify the problematic firmware versions faster those that does not have RIOTS well your batteries may have to be returned to Hubble for the tests..

    Hi all,
I have been a long time view and wisher, but the time is arrived.
I'm looking for around 400w production a day with a 5.5kw back up hybrid system.
I bought a 5.5kw hubble battery new from a friend's father in law for very low cost(sealed)
The choice I need to make is sunsynk or deye. Looking at the 8kw.
Maybe 8x 455 ja solar panels.
Installation cost vary between 15k- 45k just Installation...
What is the advise on deye vs sunsynk

    Hi all,
I have gone with solar advise, deye 8kw hybrid with 2x hubble 5.5kw batteries and 12 455w panels.
Installation will be happening tomorrow morning at 9h30.
My current average daily consumption is 36kwh.
This is with 2x geysers and a huge marine tank.
I have changed the hob to gas, and the oven is still electric however AAA+++ rating.
Oven and 1 geyser will go onto non essential, main geyser on essential.
Install 2x geyser blankets on Thursday, and the astute smart din switches.
Will try(my best) to use home assistant with red node to automate my geyser timing.
    Will take pics.

I've got two Hubble AM-2's and I recently got a cloudlink to monitor them. I should really do a separate review on that sometime, but much to my surprise my SOH was on 76% 😢
My system was installed in July 2021 so my batteries are roughly 10 months old. I actually thought I had configured something incorrectly on the cloudlink somewhere so I logged a ticket. I got a call from a very friendly support agent who had a look (they can see additional information from their side) and said my master battery, cell 1 was misbehaving - lagging behind on charging and dropping off on discharging I think he said.
No worries, I used a great installer who'll deal with all of this for me so I contacted him, battery is removed and checked in at Hubble on Wednesday morning. I was expecting to wait about 2 weeks, maybe longer with a long Easter weekend approaching but then today, 2 days later, my installer lets me know my battery will be ready for collection on Monday!
Damn that was fast, but it gets better, it turns out they didn't actually replace the cell, they're giving me an entirely new battery! Now I don't know about anyone else but that's the best service I've had in my life. I've had issues with many things from laptops to vehicles and it's always been a case of replacing parts at best, sometimes many different ones until everything works as it should. It's also usually been a painful experience involving hours on phone calls. I don't how sheltered I was from that, but going through my installer and getting this done has been a painless experience with an outcome beyond my expectations and as a result I have to say a massive thanks to Hubble for this great service. It was a good choice getting a local companies batteries, they clearly stand behind their product. I must also say a massive thanks to my installer for his role in this, so thanks @Leshen
