Try restarting it by isolating the AC connection to the inverter and then disconnect all the panels connected to it.

Hi I think it is only a DTU setting as you can only activate it on the station when you login to the world.hoymiles website. Maybe contact one of the R&D guys at Ellies. Just phone Ellies contact number and ask for R&D working on Hoymiles inverters. Regards.

Hi Barry That is interesting, I would like to know the placement of your inverter? Mine is currently mounted on my corrugated roof, underneath the solar panel. at around 36 degrees C under the panel, the inverter gets quite hot (85 Deg C). I have lifted the solar panel and increased the clearance, it is now maxing out at around 81 degrees. Adding a small USB fan(experimenting) makes a huge difference (at least 10 deg C drop). I am wondering if mounting the inverter vertically will improve natural airflow. Mine is currently horizontally mounted with the silver side up as per the manual. I would suggest to install sonoff wifi switches for the geyser (just check your geyser amp draw to select the right switch) and switch the geyser on your phone as you monitor your solar yield and usage during the day. I am planning to install a victron multiplus (for storage) as I have heard on this forum that it works well with Hoymiles Regards. Stef

I recently installed a 1200W hoymiles micro inverter from Ellies and it's working great so far. How does the inverter do in high ambient temps? I see the maximum ambient temp is aroud 65 Deg C.
