Found that the issue is the version of battery Viewer. Download a previous version to get around it. Check Youda’s post here:
  5. I’m Look for R13000 per battery or R22000 for the two. Both have done 313 cycles.

Does anyone know why I would get an exception information on batteryview : accuracy string cannot be parsed to double. I've made up the cable. I start the scan and then get the information exception.I am just trying to connect to pull the cycles.
  7. Hi Muchachos, I have two 3.5kw US3000B Pylontech batteries. It was bought in Oct 2020. Are you still in the market? I made up a console cable today to get the cycles. I'll share the details.

From memory. Updating the double was done from the monitoring website. It was a hyperlink under the Inverter info.
  9. I’ve come off a Growatt 5kw, 4x US3000. PylonTech. After a direct lightening strike, damaged the kit via BMS. I am now on a AlphaESS smile 5, 1x10.1 kw battery. I read that the discharge with the 5.7kw battery was limited on amp discharge. 10.1 kw seems to meet my requirements. My main requirement was that the system be setup correctly. Ensuring I can get the warranty on the unit. After a week. I had one issue. After https://alumo.co.za did my installation. The second Geyser kick in when I tried to charge the battery from Eskom. My stupidity, learned the limit and what I can and can’t run.
  10. Was thinking Sunsynk. Still not sure what batteries.
  11. Thank you for your advice. Pearls of wisdom. Lightening was a direct hit. Took out my 4 x PylonTech US3000 and Growatt 5 Kw inverter, Geyser wise control box, stove hob & 3 routers etc. Once I have my new kit up I’m definitely going to give it a try to run BMS over fibre adapters. I’ve connected Clearline network surge protector to my routers and earthed it.
  12. If you had to change your inverter & batteries. What would go for? I had the unfortunate of a lighting surge. Took out inverter and batteries. What I learned is to have a changeover for when the inverter does fail. Any recommendations? Second look at a surge protection on the grid in DB. Saving grace grounding solar and have a Surge protection. The combiner box saved my panels. A major weakness is the BMS. How does one protect the Batteries? My batteries were taken out through the BMS. Has anyone tried a to bridge BMS with fibre Adapters?

Hi There, did you try deleting the datalogger from inside the app. I had to delete all logger at one time. See this screenshots below. Then configure the datalogger again.
  14. Know that I also received a comms update from Growatt. For the comms card disconnecting and missing information. I received this: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1FeaTkreHW_ljcqB38nYbbgzeeWVEJHxX Again it’s for Growatt SPF5000 TL + PylonTech
  15. Received an ES update as well. I don’t have an ES inverter so can’t confirm if it works. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Pu-ZuNLr4YBBvp1Gzxt6yaD-p_1iXISu/view?usp=drivesdk
  16. Note that firmware on that post was 500.09. The procedure to flash remains the same.
  17. The only issue I have is the total values from the comm card is in minus values. Other than that I’m happy with the update. I scheduled a meeting with Amos to has a look at the issue. At this time I’m leaning towards a DB or software bug.
  18. Using BMS on PylonTech US3000B&C batteries
