  1. I agree with you however I am getting a RIOT in place soon that will give me more accurate readings and a little more in depth information that one can analyze the true performance and losses. Give your system some time it may improve as mine did.
  2. Hi @Saul Seems very strange I have 2 x Hubble AM2 Batteries with a theoretical Capacity of 11KW or 11000 watt if you look at this screenshot of solar man you will note my battery was at 46% Capacity which is theoretically 5060 Watt left in the battery My system Recharged 6700 watt into the battery you can see it clearly on the screenshot this means either my battery has a larger capacity than 11 000 watt if you add 5060 to 6700 watt then we get 11760 watt However I must admit when my batteries were brand spanking new I only got 10 000 watt out of them the problem is each installation has its own factors that can affect efficiency and so on your inverter may be slightly less efficient or your batteries need more time to "run In" whatever the case may be I am very pleased with how my batteries have been performing for the past 3 Months sofar.
  3. Then I would rather go for the BSLB POWER WALL 10.2 KW check the forum store they have a special on it we all know its a reasonably good product..
  4. Hubble Lithium AM-4 Warranty 2021 v4.pdf Hubble Lithium AM-2 Warranty 2021 v4.pdf
  5. Old document they will issue the new one shortly will post it here when I have it
  6. Local Warranty & Repairs The AM series is backed by a 10-year local warranty. A local warranty means we locally service and repair the units. This provides us to have a fast turnaround time and support our clients better. We have service & repair centers in Johannesburg and Cape Town.
  7. Just Spoke to Hubble Lithium they confirmed that their warranty on the AM2 is 10 Years
  8. SO what is Pylontech trying to tell us ? And how effective is a BMS to protect the system against over discharge ?
  9. @Tariq I agree with you and this i the real issue here is that People Like @Leshen Raise interesting facts about the products available on our market like Hubble or the BSLB Battery as an example very nice product I hear most people that own them are very happy other people own Freedom Won and others own Revov or Hubble Like myself and just because we prefer a certain brand does not mean that another brand is necessarily bad and pointing out the disadvantages of Pylontech seems to get a lot of guys here hot under the collar and strangely enough its always the same batch of guys that react very emotionally if the disadvantages of the Pylontechs are Highlighted Like @Achmat with the Facts the fact is depending on where you bought the Pylontech will determine what kind of after sales support you will get. With Hubble we all know where to go no matter who sold it to you with BSLB its a little grey but as far as I know their support is pretty good my personal experience with Pylontech support is not so great and that is possibly due to the suppliers however we are talking about batteries and our experience with these products and its not about feelings unless there are members here that does not want people to see the negative sides of their products or don't want the public to see the negative sides of products they may have sold to their clients and this may reflect badly on them somehow.. as for this discussion if we can look at the facts and do realistic comparisons without getting emotional then the discussion is productive and allows other members on the forum to get a good Idea on how these new players in the market perform. Sadly you don't like your Pylontech and I am sure it is because of all the limitations the product has. I like my Hubbles because they Recharge very quickly and give me a lot more useable power because the BMS does not have to limit anything instead it just controls the charge rates etc and I am running completely off grid sofar the system has been reliable and consistent I have not had one day down time or problems however If I do you guys will be sure to hear about it..
  10. thus far I have not seen any dirt being thrown just a whole lot of feelings and emotions however there are many products out there and after sales service is very important as you are in the automotive industry you well know that not everyone likes the same products for various reasons I mean Hyundai has a 7 Year warranty Toyota a 5 year warranty and Ford a 4 year warranty so which one is the better car or should we all drive VW Beatles from now on ?
  11. then you may have a problem you have 4 x Pylontechs on 2 x 5KW inverters so if you have warranty issues.. fortunately for you you have US2000B batteries not the problematic US3000C Units
  12. OK here is Freedom Won Warranty Guarantee Document - Freedom Lite updated March 2020.pdf
  13. Obviously it has to be installed according to the manual all warranty documents for batteries will specify that
  14. please enlighten us very good question
  15. US3000C batteries have the problem. not US2000B
  16. you see now that is where it gets completely muddy C Rating is very relevant if you are comparing the batteries capabilities and so on
  17. I have had a few not honored quite recently and due to CMU failure because apparently the 73 amp limit was exceeded.. cost quite a bit to replace the CMU however lets leave it at that
  18. is that the C rating or the DOD ?
  19. OK at what C Rating is Pylontechs Claim ? for its 6000 cycles
  20. Cool more info what size battery and inverter and solar power?
  21. I would also like to know what solar system you have @Brani
  22. This discussion is about Pylontech I don't see the relevance should we then look at Blue Nova, Freedom Won, Revov, Tesla , BSLB , Narada , Shoto , Giter , Kodak, and so on warranties too ?
  23. Also The Pylontech installation manual provides clear steps to ensure the correct set-up and installation of the batteries in a system. Before installation, be sure to cut off the grid power and make sure the battery is in the turned-off mode. Also remember: • Wiring must be correct, do not mistake the positive and negative cables, and ensure no short circuit with the external device. • It is prohibited to connect the battery and AC power directly. • The embedded BMS in the battery is designed for 48VDC, please DO NOT connect the battery in series. • The battery system must be well grounded and the resistance must be less than 1 ohm. • Please ensure the electrical parameters of battery system are compatible to related equipment. • Keep the battery away from water and fire.
  24. From Pylontech docs this is on the US2000 note warranty void recomendation not followed ..
