Circuit breaker tripping when load shedding starts

Featured Replies

I upgraded from a Mecer inverter to a Sunsynk 8Kw hybrid inverter after the Mecer expired2 months out of warranty. I really enjoy the upgrade to hybrid and the system was running really well until the latest round of load shedding started. The main circuit breaker on my solar DB trips when load shedding starts. We disconnected the inverter and tested the system without any tripping.

Any ideas?

I had this issue own my own system, turns out the cr@p AC DC earth leakage was the problem, replaced with Schneider and never had the issue again

My issue was a wiring related in the house, but it never occurred with my previous installation. The new installation is just more sensitive than the previous installation.

What exactly was wrong with the wiring? Do you have the particular details to share for future reference?
