  1. AC breaker can be rated for DC as long as inline with the spec, Almost all hager breakers can be used at lower voltage and amps.

  3. I think you will only know if you can compare the higher frequency system and then it will also depend where you run your at (running a 4/5kW inverter at mostly 150W will give bad efficiency on most systems) and as p1000 oversize you wires keep runs short.
  4. How many power surge plugs do you have? The red ones with the lights.
  5. I have a Victron system and can 100% agree their support is beyond excellent, I first took it up with supplier they took it into the distributor and agreed it was faulty (even gave me a temp MPPT while mine was in (got to love the modular system)) then later had a crazy hard to reproduce issue under very specific conditions, took it up with plonkster and got tier 3 support from the Netherlands with in a day. +1 to Victron in for support
  6. Bypass the dc surge arrestors and test again.
  7. Really can't go wrong with Victron
  8. Earth leakage yes lots of info amd causes, if mains less so not sure then
  9. Pretty sure you need to load up the assistant in veconfig
  10. So to be clear, this system is a standby SSEG - alternative supply and not a standby SSEG passive UPS as an off grid hybrid SSEG (grid assisted and interconnected with electrical installation) I ask too as need to register with the CoCT and have for the most part the same install just another L+N suppling the inverter. Did you installer omit the AC in to the inverter?
  11. No saying its right though, it does work for me though. Read; N/###########/settings/0/Settings/CGwacs/BatteryLife/SocLimit Write W/###########/settings/0/Settings/CGwacs/BatteryLife/SocLimit Payload i.e. 20% { "value": 20 }
  12. I use mqtt to change the value. Imagine modbus will also work.
  13. Its more when a high wattage load drops the power must go somewhere and goes into the grid for few seconds. Would also be interested in a solution.
  14. I was looking at this one https://circuitsetup.us/product/expandable-6-channel-esp32-energy-meter/ Similar price, more expandable, can install esphome whats not to love.
  15. Thats Home assistant, plug integrated via tasmota or tuya or esphime or ewlink or or or or
  16. I don't have solar yet (hopefully July/August) however I have put in the two array details and will compare. Has anyone done this and how does it compare?
  17. On that note any idea when the multiplus ii 48/5000/70-50 will be released?
  18. Hi, I am familiar with Geyserwise controllers, any one had any experience with easiwise? Have a quote to install a 2 m^2 flat collector and they use this controller. Thanks
  19. Thanks Phil, that paints a pretty clear picture that at the very least it's possible and can be the optimum solution if done right.
  20. Thanks Chis, Whats the reason for 15deg limitation?
